About Early Years Ltd. is seeking a friendly Teaching Assistant to join the Newport nursery and reception team. The role is mornings-only, ideal for a part-time position while gaining valuable experience in an early years setting.

You will support children as they settle into routines, assist the class teacher, and help maintain a welcoming learning environment. DBS, EWC registration, and two professional references are requested.

Academics are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join the Nursery and Reception team at a welcoming school in Newport. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to play an important role in helping them settle confidently into school life.

The role will be mornings only, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a part-time position while still gaining valuable experience within an early years setting.

You will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to support children as they become familiar with new routines, expectations and their learning environment.

What do we need from you?

• Previous experience working with children in an educational, nursery or childcare setting, including supporting children with ALN, is preferred.

• An enhanced DBS check is essential, with registration on the Update Service desirable

• Current registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
