Job summary

Jem Childcare Solutions is seeking a Senior Nursery Manager to oversee quality, compliance and curriculum across multiple settings in Leeds and surrounding areas. You will lead and support nursery teams across more than eight sites, drive Ofsted readiness and audits, manage occupancy and budgets, and report to the Operations Director alongside Area Managers.

The role requires extensive experience in early years, strong leadership across multiple settings, and a commitment to outstanding outcomes

Qualifications

• Level 3+ Early Years / Childcare qualification required.
• Minimum 7 years in early years, including 3 years in a management or team-leading role.
• Experience leading Ofsted inspections, compliance, audits.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices.
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets.
• Ability to manage own diary and workload.
• Car driver is required.

Job description

Are you looking for a new challenge and are a multi site experienced Senior Nursery Manager, our clients are looking for an experienced professional who is passionate about Quality, Compliance and Curriculum within Nursery Settings. They are offering c£55k plus travel for this role in the Leeds and surrounding areas. You must be doing a similar role as this is to cover more than 8 settings, working alongside the Area Managers and reporting to the Operations Director.

Requirements

Essential for the Quality Nursery Manager Role

• Level 3 or above Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in early years, including 3 years’ in a management or team-leading role, and at least 1 year as supporting and leading across multiple settings
• Experience leading Ofsted inspections, Compliance, Training, Audits
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets
• Ability to manage own diary and workload
• Deliver high-quality care and learning while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
