Job summary

Jem Childcare Solutions in Peterborough and surrounding areas is seeking a Nursery Area Manager to support multiple settings. You will work with the Regional Team to guide Nursery Managers in daily operations, safeguarding, curriculum delivery, and Ofsted readiness.

Ideal candidate has Level 3 in Early Years, at least 6 years in early years with 2 in management, and holds a valid car driving license. You will lead across multi-settings, manage occupancy and budgets, and drive high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in early years, including 2 years in a management or team-leading role.
• Experience leading Ofsted inspections.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices.
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Support Nursery Managers in day-to-day running of settings.
• Focus on quality, safeguarding, curriculum, and compliance.
• Support in Ofsted Inspections.
• Manage occupancy and budgets across multiple settings.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and staff.

Job description

Our Clients are now looking for a Nursery Area Manager to support settings based in the Peterborough and surrounding areas. Working alongside the Regional Team you will manage and support the Nursery Managers in their day to day running of their settings, together with focusing on quality, safeguarding, curriculum, compliance, and supporting in Ofsted Inspections.

You will need to have experience of multi - site setting support, a car driver, and passionate about supporting the team in the growth of the Nursery Group. Salary is c£54k with Car Allowance.

Essential for the Senior Nursery / Area Manager Role

Level 3 or above Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)

Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices
