Job summary

Nala Global Ltd in Bilborough, Nottingham, is seeking a Nursery Practitioner for lunch cover on a part-time basis. The role focuses on providing high-quality care and supporting children's learning during the midday period.

You will work 11:00am–2:00pm, Mon-Fri, year-round, with a salary up to £13.30 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Relevant Early Years qualifications (Level 2 or Level 3) are desirable, and previous nursery experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• A relevant Early Years qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare is desirable/required depending on the role.
• Previous experience in a nursery or Early Years setting is beneficial.

Nursery Practitioner (Lunch Cover)

Location: Bilborough, Nottingham

Salary: Up to £13.30 per hour depending on qualifications and experience

Hours: 11:00am–2:00pm (15hr p/w), Mon-Fri, all year round

Contract: Permanent

Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery setting who are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a part-time basis.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care and education for children, supporting their development through engaging activities and positive interactions.

• Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
• Supporting children’s learning and development through age-appropriate activities
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities based around children’s interests and development
• Observing and recording children’s progress and contributing to their individual learning journeys
• Ensuring children’s health, safety and wellbeing are maintained at all times
• Supporting children with their personal care needs where required
• Working effectively as part of a wider nursery team
• Following the nursery’s policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements
• Creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported
