Nala Recruitment is seeking a Nursery Practitioner for lunch cover at a nursery in Gravesend. The role is part-time, Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 3:00pm, with a permanent contract and ASAP start. Salary is up to £13.70 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful applicant will provide high-quality care and education, support children's development, and work closely with parents and colleagues in a welcoming team environment.

Qualifications

• A relevant Early Years qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare is required.
• Previous nursery or Early Years setting experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children.
• Support children's learning and development through age-appropriate activities.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Help plan and deliver engaging activities based on children's interests and development.

Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery setting who are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a part-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children and helping them develop, learn and thrive in a safe and stimulating environment.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care and education for children, supporting their development through engaging activities and positive interactions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
• Supporting children's learning and development through age-appropriate activities
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities based around children's interests and development
• Observing and recording children's progress and contributing to their individual learning journeys
• Ensuring children's health, safety and wellbeing are maintained at all times
• Supporting children with their personal care needs where required
• Working effectively as part of a wider nursery team
• Following the nursery's policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements
• Creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported
