Job summary

Refresh Recruitment Limited is seeking a Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3) in Soundwell, Bristol. The role involves delivering engaging activities, promoting learning through play, and providing a safe, inclusive environment for young children. Flexibility to work 4 or 5 days per week is offered.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification, have nursery experience, and be committed to EYFS standards and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or equivalent required.
• Experience in a nursery or early years setting preferred.
• Good knowledge of child development and EYFS framework.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning through play.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment for all children.
• Observe and monitor children's development and progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Support daily nursery operations and maintain high standards of care.
• Follow EYFS guidance and best practice in early years.
• Lead by example and share best practice with the team.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning environment and children's experiences.
