Job summary

Refresh Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a Nursery Practitioner in Bristol with a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years to deliver high-quality education.

You will work in a vibrant nursery setting, plan activities, observe progress, and support families while upholding EYFS standards. Salary is £27,000-£29,000 per annum, 40 hours weekly, over 4 or 5 days, Monday to Friday, with DBS likely required.

• Sound understanding of child development and EYFS framework.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a fantastic nursery setting in Bristol. Important Requirement

You must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or an equivalent recognised qualification to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.
• Observe, assess, and monitor children's development and progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Support the day-to-day operation of the nursery and maintain high standards of care.
• Follow and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Lead by example and demonstrate best practice in early years education.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support children's learning and development.
• Contribute ideas and initiatives to enhance the nursery environment and children's experiences.

About You

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• A sound understanding of child development and early years best practice.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong teamwork and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and development.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
