Job summary

Willingcare is seeking a Nursery Practitioner at Level 2 or Level 3 to join our team. You will provide warm, high-quality care across the nursery day and deliver play-based learning in line with the setting's curriculum and pedagogy.

The role offers progression into Senior Practitioner and Room Leader positions, with opportunities to work with varied age groups and build lasting relationships with children and families.

Qualifications

• Required Level 2/3 Early Years qualification.
• Experience working with children in Early Years.
• Newly qualified practitioners with placements will be considered.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, responsive care throughout the nursery day.
• Plan and deliver experiences aligned with the curriculum and pedagogy.
• Observe and document children's development to support next steps.
• Encourage confidence, curiosity and independence through play.
• Build secure relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe, stimulating environment.
• Maintain high safeguarding and nursery standards.
