Job summary

Nala Recruitment seeks a dedicated Nursery Practitioner in Maidstone to join a welcoming nursery team. You will create a safe, nurturing environment and support children’s learning through engaging activities and positive interactions.

The role offers full-time or part-time hours, school hours option, and a competitive hourly rate up to £13.70, dependent on experience and qualifications. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• A relevant Early Years qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare is required.
• Previous nursery or Early Years experience is beneficial.

Nursery Practitioner

Location: Maidstone, Kent

Salary: Up to £13.70 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications

Hours: Full-time and Part-time roles available (school hours available)

Contract: Permanent

Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery setting who are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children and helping them develop, learn and thrive in a safe and stimulating environment.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care and education for children, supporting their development through engaging activities and positive interactions.

• Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
• Supporting children's learning and development through age-appropriate activities
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities based around children's interests and development
• Observing and recording children's progress and contributing to their individual learning journeys
• Ensuring children's health, safety and wellbeing are maintained at all times
• Supporting children with their personal care needs where required
• Working effectively as part of a wider nursery team
• Following the nursery's policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements
• Creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported
