Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Nursery Practitioner for an independent nursery in Yeadon, offering a full-time role with an immediate start and a salary of £14.25–£15.00 per hour. The successful candidate will support children's early development through engaging activities, assist with EYFS learning, and help to create a safe, caring and stimulating environment with a friendly team.

You will have Level 2/3 childcare, strong teamwork, and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare required.
• Experience in an Early Years or nursery setting preferred.
• Understanding of EYFS and child development essential.

Responsibilities

• Support children through their early development with engaging activities.
• Help maintain a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment.
• Work as part of a friendly team to deliver high-quality care.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an independent nursery in Yeadon, who are looking to welcome a Nursery Practitioner to their friendly team. The nursery provides a positive and supportive environment where staff are encouraged to develop their skills and further their qualifications.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner on a full-time basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children throughout their early development, providing engaging activities and helping to create a safe, caring and stimulating environment.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare
• Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting
• A good understanding of the EYFS
• A caring and enthusiastic approach to working with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to get stuck in
