Job summary

Randstad NV in Forest Row, East Sussex, is seeking a Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) to provide high-quality early years care and education. The role focuses on building strong relationships as a Key Person, delivering EYFS-aligned activities, and monitoring development with safeguarding at the core.

The successful candidate will have a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, experience in an EY setting, and a commitment to safety and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Experience in an Early Years setting.
• Knowledge of EYFS, child development, and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities that align with the EYFS framework.

Job Offer

• Location: Forest Row, East Sussex
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Pay: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Contract Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a key part in the day-to-day care and development of our young learners, helping them explore, play, and grow safely. Your primary duties include:

• Act as a Key Person, building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
• Knowledge: Sound understanding of the EYFS framework, child development, and safeguarding procedures.
• Attributes: Excellent communication skills, a warm personality, and a genuine passion for early education.
• Requirements: An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) and satisfactory references.
