Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) in Forest Row to support young learners in a nurturing EYFS environment. You will act as a Key Person, delivering age-appropriate activities and tracking progress while maintaining high safety and safeguarding standards.

The role requires Level 2/3 EY Qualification and prior Early Years experience, with enhanced DBS and references. Competitive hourly pay and a friendly team await in East Sussex.

Qualifications

Job Offer

• Location: Forest Row, East Sussex
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Pay: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Contract Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a key part in the day-to-day care and development of our young learners, helping them explore, play, and grow safely. Your primary duties include:

• Act as a Key Person, building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.
• Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities that align with the EYFS framework.
• Observe, assess, and track children's progress to support their individual developmental milestones.
• Ensure high standards of safety, hygiene, and safeguarding at all times.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Full and relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Experience: Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
• Knowledge: Sound understanding of the EYFS framework, child development, and safeguarding procedures.
• Attributes: Excellent communication skills, a warm personality, and a genuine passion for early education.
