Job summary

Randstad Education in Forest Row, East Sussex, is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming team. The role focuses on caring for young children, delivering EYFS-aligned activities, and supporting development in a safe, bright environment.

You will act as a Key Person, plan creative activities, observe progress, and collaborate with colleagues. The position offers full-time hours, a permanent contract, and competitive pay at £14–£16 per hour, with DBS checks and references required.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Experience in an Early Years setting.
• Sound understanding of the EYFS framework, child development, and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, a warm personality and genuine passion for early education.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) and satisfactory references.

Job Offer

• Location: Forest Row, East Sussex
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Pay: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
