Job summary

Randstad NV is seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3) for Forest Row, East Sussex. The role focuses on supporting young learners in a nurturing EYFS environment, with duties including planning activities, tracking progress, and safeguarding.

The position is full-time, permanent, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM and pay between £14.00-£16.00 per hour, depending on experience. A DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Experience: Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
• Knowledge: EYFS framework, child development, safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Person, building relationships with children and families.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities aligned with EYFS.
• Observe, assess, and track children's progress to support milestones.
• Ensure high safety, hygiene, and safeguarding standards.

Job Offer

Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a key part in the day-to-day care and development of our young learners, helping them explore, play, and grow safely. Your primary duties include:

• Act as a Key Person, building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.
• Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities that align with the EYFS framework.
• Observe, assess, and track children's progress to support their individual developmental milestones.
• Ensure high standards of safety, hygiene, and safeguarding at all times.
• Work collaboratively with team members to foster a warm, inclusive, and stimulating setting.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Full and relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Experience: Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
• Knowledge: Sound understanding of the EYFS framework, child development, and safeguarding procedures.
• Attributes: Excellent communication skills, a warm personality, and a genuine passion for early education.
• Requirements: An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) and satisfactory references.
