Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a flexible Supply Nursery Practitioner to provide day-to-day cover across nurseries in Sevenoaks. Work can be 1 day a week or full 5-day availability, with placements across local settings and sevenoaks area.

The role welcomes qualified staff and experienced childcare practitioners seeking flexible hours. duties include supporting children 0-5, stepping into routines, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience working or volunteering with children aged 0-5.
• Qualifications: CACHE, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent Early Years qualification.
• Reliability: Adaptable, friendly, punctual, and confident stepping into new nursery environments with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Requirements: Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service and provide verifiable professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive care for children aged 0-5 across baby, toddler, and preschool rooms.
• Step seamlessly into nursery routines, supporting permanent staff with indoor play, outdoor learning, snack/meal times, and nap routines.
• Help create a fun, safe, and stimulating environment for the children throughout the day.
• Promote good hygiene and uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards at every setting you visit.

Qualifications

Qualifications: For qualified rates, a CACHE, NVQ Level 2/3, or equivalent Early Years qualification is required. We also welcome applications from experienced individuals without formal childcare qualifications.
