Refresh Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a passionate Nursery Practitioner in Reigate to nurture children's development and deliver learning through play. The role requires a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare and involves creating a safe, inclusive environment for young learners.

You will observe development, build strong relationships with families, and support daily nursery operations while adhering to EYFS standards.

Qualifications

Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified)

Location: Reigate

Salary: £27,100 - £30,400 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, worked over either 4 or 5 days, Monday to Friday

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in nurturing children's development, supporting their learning through play, and creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Important Requirement

You must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or an equivalent recognised qualification to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.
• Observe, assess, and monitor children's development and progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Support the day-to-day operation of the nursery and maintain high standards of care.
• Follow and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Lead by example and demonstrate best practice in early years education.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support children's learning and development.
• Contribute ideas and initiatives to enhance the nursery environment and children's experiences.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• A sound understanding of child development and early years best practice.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong teamwork and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and development.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
