Job summary

Refresh Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a passionate Nursery Practitioner for a Wimbledon setting to deliver high-quality early years education and nurture children's development.

The role requires a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent, and 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days with EYFS emphasis and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Good understanding of child development and EYFS framework.

Location: Wimbledon

Salary: £28,100 - £30,400 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, worked over either 4 or 5 days, Monday to Friday

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in nurturing children's development, supporting their learning through play, and creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Important Requirement

You must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or an equivalent recognised qualification to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.

• Support the day-to-day operation of the nursery and maintain high standards of care.

• Contribute ideas and initiatives to enhance the nursery environment and children's experiences.

About You

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• A sound understanding of child development and early years best practice.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong teamwork and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and development.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
