Job summary

Refresh Recruitment Limited is seeking a Nursery Practitioner in Slough to join a comforting and outstanding nursery environment. You will deliver learning through play, foster a safe and inclusive setting, and support children's development in line with EYFS.

The role requires a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, with 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days (Mon–Fri). DBS checks and commitment to safeguarding are standard expectations.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Sound understanding of child development and EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in nurturing children's development, supporting their learning through play, and creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

You must hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or an equivalent recognised qualification to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong teamwork and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and development.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
