Job description

Our Kiddi Caru Nursery in Plympton, part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for a Nursery Practitioner with Level 2 or above in Early Years (20 hours per week), working 4 hours each day, to join our team. You’ll be caring for, supporting, sharing stories, and having fun to meet the needs of our children.

What will you be doing:

• Promoting high standards of quality in the nursery environment, resources, and experiences
• Assuming key carer responsibilities for designated children
• Providing rich and stimulating experiences suitable for children’s developmental stages
• Preparing and supporting children’s activities
• Maintaining effective daily management of the environment in the absence of the Team/Room Leader
• Ensuring practice aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Supporting and mentoring students and unqualified staff to deliver high-quality childcare
