Job Summary: Practitioner
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery. You will play a vital role in creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.
Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Provide personal care to children, including feeding, changing diapers, and assisting with toileting
- Observe and monitor children's development, behaviour, and health
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment
- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Follow all nursery policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Level 2/3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Patience and empathy when working with young children
- Ability to create a positive and nurturing environment for children
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
