Job summary

Storal is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to work across multiple nurseries in the Manchester area, delivering high-quality care and supporting children's development.

You will provide day-to-day cover, plan activities, observe progress, and apply the Storal curriculum with flexibility to support different settings. A Level 3 Early Years qualification and EYFS familiarity are preferred, and a full UK driving licence is beneficial for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Early Years qualification at Level 3.
• Experience with all age groups in Early Years.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day cover and support for Nursery Managers.
• Plan activities and observe progress for children.
• Manage personal care for children and apply the Storal curriculum.
• Engage with families and support transitions between settings.

In this role you’ll work across multiple Nurseries, gaining knowledge and experience in each setting, to further develop your childcare career.

Nursery: Cherry Tree,Old Crofts Bank, The Learning Hive, Wilmere Lane, Alexandra Park, M16 8PH

Location: Manchester

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week Monday – Friday

Salary: £16.00 per hour

The Team

Our Nursery Support Team is in the North West and will cover the following nurseries, Cherry Tree (WA2 7BS),Old Crofts Bank (M41 7AA), The Learning Hive (M34 5GB), Alexandra Park (M16 8PH), Wilmere Lane (WA8 5UR). We have a wide variety of remarkable nurseries where our experienced and passionate team brings a wealth of early years expertise. We know that every child is unique, with their own story to tell, so we tailor our approach to suit each child’s pace, personality, and interests ensuring they feel supported, seen, and celebrated.

How you’ll spend your time here

In this role, you will work closely with the Nursery Managers to provide day-to-day cover and support where it is needed most. Flexibility is key, as your schedule may vary week to week.

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

• An Early Years qualification at Level 3
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
• Have a full clean UK driving licence and access to a car
• Be willing to travel within the Winchester area
