Job summary

Little Manor Nursery, part of Storal, is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to support children’s development on a full-time basis. You will plan activities, observe progress and apply the Storal curriculum daily, ensuring high levels of care and empathy.

Join a warm, nurturing environment where staff collaborate to safeguard children and partner with families, delivering play-based learning that builds confidence and resilience.

Qualifications

• Nursery Practitioner Level 3 qualification is required.
• Experience with all age groups within Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities and observe children’s progress.
• Manage personal care for children in line with the curriculum.
• Apply the Storal curriculum and pedagogy daily.
• Identify learning opportunities in routines such as mealtimes and transitions.
• Bond with children and families and support safe, nurturing play.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (Full-time)

Salary: £13.64 per hour

Welcome Bonus: £500

How you’ll spend your time here

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.
You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

• A Nursery Practitioner qualification at Level 3
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
