Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Nursery Assistant for a small, friendly nursery in Keighley. The role is permanent, part-time with immediate start, offering in-house training and clear routes for progression within Early Years.

You will support children through daily routines and activities, helping to create a safe, engaging and nurturing environment while developing Early Years knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 3 Childcare qualification.
• Interest in developing a career in Early Years.
• Understanding of supporting children's learning and development.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Willingness to undertake in-house training and professional development.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a small and friendly nursery in Keighley that offers a welcoming and supportive environment for both children and staff. The nursery benefits from a large garden for outdoor learning and provides in-house training alongside clear routes for career progression.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Assistant on a permanent, part-time basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children throughout their daily routines and learning activities, helping to create a safe, engaging and nurturing environment while developing their own Early Years knowledge and skills.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• A willingness to work towards a Level 3 Childcare qualification


• An interest in developing a career within Early Years


• A good understanding of supporting children’s learning and development


• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach


• A willingness to undertake in-house training and professional development


• The ability to work effectively as part of a friendly nursery team
