As a Permanent Nursery Practitioner in Horley, your daily responsibilities will include:
Delivering EYFS Education: Planning and running engaging, play-based activities tailored to children's developmental needs under the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
Key Person Duties: Managing a dedicated group of key children, tracking their milestones, and keeping progress records updated.
Providing High-Quality Care: Ensuring a safe, clean, and emotionally supportive environment for babies and young children.
Parental Engagement: Building strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers to provide daily updates on their child's progress.
Safeguarding & Health: Upholding high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and child protection at all times.
Qualification: NVQ / CACHE / NCFE Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding protocols.
Experience: Previous experience working in a UK nursery, early years, or pre-school setting.
DBS: An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to complete one).
