Job summary

Connaught Resourcing is urgently seeking an Operations Nursery Manager for a full-time, permanent role based in a prep school in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be qualified (Level 3+ in Childcare) and have leadership experience such as room leader, deputy, or manager.

The role blends classroom time, people management, and administrative duties with liaison to families. Hours include at least two evenings per week until 6pm and 40 days of paid annual leave plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above in Childcare.
• Experience in leadership roles in a nursery setting (e.g., room leader, deputy, or manager).
• Ability to work evenings and a schedule including two evenings per week until 6pm.
