Job summary

Protocol Education are recruiting an EYFS Nursery Nurse in Ashford (TW15) to join a friendly primary school on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026. You will contribute to an engaging, play-based learning environment and support children’s development under the Early Years team.

The role requires Level 2/3 EYFS qualification, previous EYFS experience, and a warm, patient, child-centred approach with strong safeguarding knowledge.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification required.
• Experience in a nursery, preschool or EYFS setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and safeguarding knowledge.

A friendly and nurturing primary school in Ashford (TW15) is seeking a passionate Nursery Nurse to join their Early Years team on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026.

You'll work alongside a dedicated Early Years team committed to giving every child the very best start to their education.

The Role

Position: Nursery Nurse

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

Start Date: September 2026

Location: Ashford, Surrey (TW15)

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
• Has previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, or primary school EYFS setting
• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
• Is warm, caring, patient, and passionate about supporting young children
• Can create engaging learning experiences through play
• Builds positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Works effectively as part of a supportive team
• Has excellent safeguarding knowledge and a child-centred approach
