Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting an EYFS Nursery Practitioner for a full-time, long-term role starting September 2026 in Weybridge, Surrey (KT13). You will support early years development through play-based learning within a caring, child-centred environment.

Ideal candidates hold Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS qualifications, have nursery/EYFS experience, and are committed to safeguarding and collaborative teamwork with parents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Holds a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
• Experience in nursery, preschool, or primary school EYFS setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and safeguarding practices.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced EYFS Nursery Practitioner looking for an exciting opportunity this September?

A welcoming and well-established primary school in Weybridge (KT13) is looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join their Early Years team on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a nurturing school community where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and independence through engaging, play-based learning. You'll work alongside an experienced EYFS team who are passionate about giving every child the very best start to their education.

The Role

Position: Nursery Practitioner

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

Start Date: September 2026

Location: Weybridge, Surrey (KT13)

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
• Has experience working within a nursery, preschool, or primary school EYFS setting
• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
• Is caring, patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about supporting young children
• Creates stimulating learning experiences through play
• Builds positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Works effectively within a collaborative team
• Has excellent safeguarding knowledge and a child-centred approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
