Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery Group in Woking is looking for a passionate Nursery Nurse to join their team. The Nursery Nurse will support children from 3 months to pre-school age, bringing energy and creativity to every day. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with opportunities for job shares and supply roles.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the EYFS, including planning activities.
• Ability to refer to the EYFS Framework.

Salary for Nursery Nurse is up to £30,160 per annum

We offer a variety of opportunities, including:

• Full time, 40 hours a week
• Job shares, varying from 2-3 days a week
• Part time, 20 hours a week

Conveniently located in Goldsworth Park, our bright, purpose-built nursery provides a safe, inspiring environment for children to learn, play, and grow.

Each room has free-flow access to large, secure gardens, including a dedicated growing patch where children can plant, grow, and care for fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Essential qualifications and experience:

• Suitable qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities
• To be aware of the role of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery aged children
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs
• A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check
