Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Nursery Nurse to join our caring team. You will support children from 3 months to pre-school age with energy, creativity and warmth in a safe, inclusive environment.

The role involves working across 0-5 age range, adhering to EYFS, planning activities, building relationships with families, and contributing to a warm, inclusive culture. Full-time or part-time options available; DBS required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and ability to reference it when planning activities.
• Understanding of planning, observation and keeping records for nursery children.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
• Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care for children aged 0-5 in a supportive team.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day nursery operations by following policies and procedures.
• Use knowledge and imagination to create new activities.
• Build relationships with children and communicate with parents.
• Ensure every day is fun for children.

Role overview

Every day is an adventure in this exciting and rewarding role! As a Nursery Nurse, you'll be part of a caring team that supports children from 3 months to pre-school age. Working hours & contract

• Full time, 40 hours a week
• Job shares, varying from 2-3 days a week
• Part time, 20 hours a week
• Supply roles enabling you to achieve the work/life balance you are looking for

Salary

Salary for Nursery Nurse is up to £28,392 per annum

About our Wellingborough Nursery

Located in Glenvale Park, our purpose-built nursery opened in December 2023 and features three spacious rooms and a large garden.

Facility details

The nursery can accommodate up to 100 children per day, offering an engaging and enabling environment. We provide free on-site parking, and the train station is just a 5-minute drive away for those using public transport.
