Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery Group is seeking a warm and energetic Nursery Nurse for its Ottershaw setting. You will support children from 3 months to pre-school in a safe, inclusive environment, bringing creativity, energy and care to daily activities.

The role offers full-time 40 hours, with options for 2-3 day shares, part-time 20 hours, or supply roles to suit work/life balance. A strong qualification in childcare and EYFS knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

Enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
Understanding of planning/observation and keeping records for nursery-aged children.

Salary for Nursery Nurse is up to £30,160 per annum

About Our Ottershaw Nursery

Located on Brox Road in Chertsey, our nursery is easily accessible from the M25 and set in a charming, historic former schoolhouse, providing a warm, inviting environment.

Our spacious garden encourages sensory and exploratory play, fostering curiosity and creativity.

Essential qualifications and experience

Suitable qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities
To be aware of the role of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery aged children
Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs
A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check
