About the Role

TeacherActive is working with a well-established nursery in Derbyshire (DE13) that is passionate about providing the best start for children on their Early Years journey. We are seeking a flexible, enthusiastic Part-Time Nursery Assistant for a long-term position. The successful candidate will support children's learning through games, singing, storytelling, and record their development to share with parents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist children in developing numeracy and language skills.
2. Record and communicate children's development.
3. Support children with their emotional and social development.
4. Encourage a happy, enthusiastic learning environment.

Requirements

• Level 3 Childcare / Early Years qualification.
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 years.
• Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding policies.
• Kind, caring, and passionate about child care.
• Excellent listening and understanding skills.
• Driving license (required).
• Experience with SEN children and personal care is desirable.
