Job description

Our client is seeking to appoint a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse to join their successful team working at an exceptional Nursery based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Person Specification:
  • Level 3 Childcare qualification
  • Experience of working in a nursery setting
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
  • Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
Nursery Nurse Responsibilities:
  • Working with EYFS curriculum and planning exciting, age-appropriate activities
  • Supporting children at sleep times and with personal care
  • Key worker responsibilities, including settling new children, maintaining development records, and planning next steps
  • Working in partnership with parents, carers, and key interfacing groups
  • Ensuring all staff adhere to nursery policies and procedures
  • Attending parents' evenings and open days as required
  • Participating in staff meetings and training sessions as required
  • Working 40 hours per week
