Job summary

Staff Match is seeking a dedicated Level 3 qualified nursery nurse to join a well-established nursery in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. You will support the EYFS curriculum, monitor children's development, and work closely with parents and the team.

The ideal candidate holds NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent, has knowledge of EYFS, and has at least 1 year of experience. Desirable: Basic Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid certificates.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of EYFS Curriculum.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable).
• Paediatric First Aid (Desirable).
• Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• To work with EYFS Curriculum, set up exciting and inviting activities for children.
• Promote diversity and equal opportunity.
• To work in partnership with parents and key interfacing groups.
• Keyworker responsibilities, maintaining children's development files.
• Accurately completing documentation i.e. accident, incident, medication forms.
• Supporting children at meal times and with personal care.
• Working to nursery policy and procedures.
• Attending monthly staff meetings, open days and parent's evenings as required.
