Job summary

Staff Match Limited is seeking a level 3 qualified nursery nurse to join a well-established nursery in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The role focuses on supporting under-5s with EYFS activities and development tracking.

You will work with parents, maintain development files and ensure high standards of care in line with nursery policies. DBS checks and UK eligibility checks apply.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of EYFS Curriculum.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
• Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
• Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role

Responsibilities

• To work with EYFS Curriculum, set up exciting and inviting activities for children
• Promote diversity and equal opportunity
• To work in partnership with parents and key interfacing groups
• Keyworker responsibilities, maintaining children's development files
• Accurately completing documentation i.e. accident, incident, medication forms
• Supporting children at meal times and with personal care
• Working to nursery policy and procedures
• Attending monthly staff meetings, open days and parent's evenings as required
