Job summary

St George’s Nursery Group is seeking a capable nursery leader for a fixed-term maternity cover, with potential for permanence. This is a full-time role (40 hours/week) across 7:30am–6:00pm, Monday to Friday, in the East Midlands.

The position offers up to £44,000 per annum, with annual salary reviews and bonus opportunities. You will lead daily operations, support staff development, uphold safeguarding and EYFS standards, and foster strong family relations to drive occupancy.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
• At least two years’ early years or other suitable experience.
• Experience leading and motivating a nursery team.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A positive, professional and family-focused approach.
