Job summary

Sable Recruitment is seeking a Nursery Manager for a Leicester setting. The role oversees daily operations, staffing, recruitment, and policy implementation to maintain a high Ofsted rating. A Level 3 childcare qualification and leadership experience are required.

The successful candidate will lead staff development, manage training, and ensure compliance while driving quality and occupancy. The position is full-time and on-site with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 in Childcare
• Minimum of 2 years previous experience as Deputy Manager or above
• Knowledge of safeguarding
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of Ofsted standards

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all aspects of people management
• Provide staff with feedback
• Be responsible for recruitment
• Ensure staff receive ongoing training and development
• Maintain consistently high standards across the setting
• Develop and maintain systems supporting quality standards
• Ensure the nursery runs to full capacity
• Cover ratios as required
