Job summary

Staff Match are recruiting on behalf of a well established nursery group for a Nursery Manager based in Leicester. The role requires a real passion for early years and a minimum of 2 years’ management experience.

You will lead day-to-day nursery operations, ensure policy compliance, recruit and supervise staff, and work closely with parents while driving occupancy and embedding the EYFS curriculum. DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and motivating teams.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
• Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Lead responsibility for day to day nursery operations
• Ensuring staff comply with policy and procedures
• Partnership working with parents, building positive relationships, arranging events, drop in sessions
• Marketing and managing occupancy
• Invoicing, fee calculation, Back office, material ordering, HR, Finance
• Ensuring EYFS curriculum is effectively embedded in practice
• Preparing for Ofsted inspections
• Managing recruitment, supervisions and appraisals
