Job summary

Cherry Tree Primary School and Nursery in Basildon is seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead and develop the nursery team from November 2026. The role requires experience in nursery settings, strong leadership and excellent communication, with a commitment to high standards of behaviour and inclusive attainment for all children.

The post is 37 hours per week during term time, 8am–4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am–3:30pm Friday, with INSET days. Salary Scale 7, Point 19, starting £29,038.
