Cherry Tree Primary School and Nursery in Basildon is seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead and develop the nursery team from November 2026. The post is 37 hours per week during term time, 8am–4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am–3:30pm Friday, with INSET days. Salary Scale 7, Point 19, starting £29,038.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.

The hours are from 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm on Friday (including a 30 minute break), 37 hours per week during term time, plus INSET days (39 weeks per year).

Working a 4x day week will also be considered.

Salary Scale 7, Point 19 (Range 19-24) Actual starting salary £29,038 per annum (including paid annual leave, which must be taken during school closure periods).
