Cherry Tree Primary School and Nursery in Basildon is seeking a Nursery Manager to join from November 2026. The role is part-time, 37 hours per week during term time, with INSET days, 8am-4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-3:30pm on Friday. Salary Scale 7, starting at £29,038 per year.

The successful candidate will provide strong leadership, drive high standards of attainment, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment for all children and families.

Cherry Tree Primary School and Nursery has an exciting internal opportunity for a Nursery Manager to join the team from November 2026.

The hours are from 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm on Friday (including a 30 minute break), 37 hours per week during term time, plus INSET days (39 weeks per year).

*Working a 4x day week will also be considered.

Salary Scale 7, Point 19 (Range 19-24) Actual starting salary £29,038 per annum (including paid annual leave, which must be taken during school closure periods).
