Talent-ID Recruitment Limited is seeking a Level 3 qualified Nursery Manager to lead a nursery room or unit and inspire the team to deliver outstanding EYFS care in a warm environment.

You will be responsible for day-to-day running, staff leadership and ensuring safeguarding, teaching and learning standards are met. This is an excellent opportunity for progression from Senior Practitioner to a leadership role.

Competenze

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential.

Nursery Manager / Nursery Room Manager / Early Years Manager

Level 3 qualified Nursery Manager, Nursery Room Manager or Early Years Manager wanted. Lead your nursery room or unit, inspire your team and deliver outstanding EYFS care and education in a warm, nurturing environment.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and highly motivated Level 3 qualified early years professional to take responsibility for the effective day-to-day running of a designated nursery room or unit.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner, Room Leader or Early Years Practitioner looking to progress into a leadership position. You will lead by example, motivate colleagues and create a stimulating environment where children can thrive, while working closely with the wider nursery leadership team to maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the effective day-to-day running of your designated room or unit.
• Lead, motivate, mentor and support practitioners, apprentices and support staff.
• Allocate responsibilities effectively and maintain high standards of practice.
• Deliver high-quality care, learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Plan stimulating, age-appropriate activities based on children's needs and interests.
• Monitor children's development and maintain accurate observations, assessments and planning.
• Promote children's independence, confidence, communication and social development.
• Support children with additional needs and SEND, working with parents and relevant professionals.
• Ensure safeguarding, child protection, health and safety procedures are consistently followed.
• Maintain accurate records, including accidents, incidents, medication and risk assessments.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers and communicate effectively about children's development.
• Contribute to quality improvement, self-evaluation and Ofsted preparation.
• Support staff development and contribute to the continued improvement of nursery standards.

Candidate Requirements

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification is essential, along with previous nursery or early years experience.
• Previous experience as a Room Leader, Nursery Unit Manager, Early Years Room Leader, Nursery Team Leader, Deputy Nursery Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner is advantageous.
• You should have a strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, child protection and child development from birth to five years. Excellent communication, leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience supporting SEND, mentoring staff, preparing for Ofsted inspections and contributing to quality improvement would be beneficial. Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding/DSL and Food Hygiene qualifications are desirable.

You will be warm, caring, organised and passionate about early years education, with the confidence to lead a team, delegate effectively and take ownership of your room or unit.
