Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a private day nursery in Wakefield that is looking to appoint an experienced Nursery Manager for an immediate start. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day running of the setting, lead and develop the Early Years team, and ensure safeguarding, EYFS and high standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager or similar senior Early Years role.
• Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years as a minimum.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
• Experience leading, motivating and developing a nursery team.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Leading, supporting and developing the Early Years team.
• Ensuring safeguarding procedures are consistently followed.

Qualifications
