Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions Limited is recruiting a Nursery Manager for a beautiful countryside setting in Petersfield. The role covers day-to-day operations of a large, busy nursery with an emphasis on Reggio Emilia ethos and achieving Ofsted Good/Outstanding outcomes.

The position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with salary up to £50k depending on experience and qualifications. Onsite parking and a strong benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification.
• Minimum 4 years in early years.
• At least 2 years in a management or team-leading role.
• Experience with Ofsted inspections and EYFS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a large nursery.
• Lead staff across the nursery and support improvements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Our clients beautiful countryside Nursery in Petersfield, is now seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the day to day operations of this large and busy Nursery. You will need to be experienced in running a large setting, have taken a nursery through an Ofsted Inspection at Good or Outstanding standards, have experience in working with our ethos - Reggio Emilia. Essential for the Nursery Manager Role

• Level 3 or above Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in early years, including 2 years’ in a management or team-leading role
• Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets
• Deliver high-quality care and learning while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
