Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions in Calne, Wiltshire, is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead the nursery and support staff. The role involves a 40-hour week with a salary of £38k–£40k plus a £1,000 joining bonus.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 3+ Early Years/Childcare qualifications, have at least four years in early years with management experience, and be adept at EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted engagement. A strong leader who can drive improvements and manage budgets is preferred.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ Early Years/Childcare qualification.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in early years, including 2 years in a management role.
• Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices.
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets.
• Deliver high-quality care and learning while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

About our Clients

Our client, a well-established nursery setting, based in Calne, South of Swindon, is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead and support the setting, ensuring high standards of care and education. Working a 40 hr week, salary is c£38k with bonuses. Our client is looking ideally for a manager or deputy manager who has experience of managing a nursery. A £1000 joining bonus is also offered.
