Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions in Didcot, Oxfordshire, is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead daily operations at a busy nursery. This full-time position offers a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri) with a salary in the region of £44,000 to £47,000 and a strong benefits package.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3+ Early Years qualification, have at least four years in the sector with two in management, and be adept at Ofsted readiness, safeguarding, EYFS, occupancy, and budgets.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ Early Years / Childcare qualification.
• Minimum 4 years in early years, with at least 2 in management.
• Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections.
• Strong EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety knowledge.
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets.

This beautiful nursery in Didcot, part of a growing group of Nurseries are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to join their team in supporting the day to day operations of their setting. This is a 40 hr a week role, Monday to Friday, with salary c£45k plus, plus great benefits.

Essential for the Nursery Manager Role

• Level 3 or above Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
• Minimum 4 years' experience in early years, including 2 years' in a management or team-leading role
• Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets
