Job summary

The Learning Experience UK in Weybridge is recruiting a Lunchtime Assistant to support children during lunch hours and contribute to a safe, nurturing environment. You will help with lunchtime routines, meal supervision, and a range of activities that promote development.

Join a growing, child-focused team and help create engaging spaces, both indoors and outdoors, while upholding health, safety and safeguarding standards in line with British Values and LEAP principles.

Qualifications

• Experience in early years education settings with 'Good or Outstanding' inspection outcomes.
• Collaborates effectively within nursery teams and communicates well.
• Record of ongoing training and professional qualifications.
• Proficiency in hygiene standards, room preparation and decision-making.
• Experience in food preparation and relevant food management training.
• Familiarity with child protection and safeguarding policies.
• Motivated and deadline-driven, particularly in children's record-keeping and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Cover lunchtime hours for Weybridge Nursery from 10am to 3pm.
• Deliver exceptional care that supports each child's development and individual needs.
• Fulfill lunchtime responsibilities and provide vital support to local nurseries.
• Create enriching environments with indoor and outdoor activities.
• Adhere to safety and safeguarding policies to protect children's well-being.

Your Duties:

• In this pivotal role, you'll cover the hours between approximately 10am and 3pm


• Your role involves delivering exceptional care that supports each child's development and individual needs.


• With a flexible approach, you'll fulfill lunchtime responsibilities and provide vital support to local nurseries.


• By creating enriching environments filled with engaging activities, you'll foster indoor and outdoor growth.
