Job summary

The Learning Experience UK in Weybridge is inviting applications for a friendly Lunchtime Assistant to join our nursery team. You will cover lunchtimes (roughly 10am to 3pm) and provide care that supports each child's development, safety and wellbeing.

A DBS check is required; prior experience in early years is preferred, with a strong commitment to hygiene and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in early years education settings with 'Good or Outstanding' inspection outcomes.
• Successful collaboration within nursery teams and effective communication.
• Record of ongoing training and professional qualifications.
• Proficiency in hygiene standards, room preparation, and decision-making.
• Experience in food preparation and relevant food management training.
• Familiarity with child protection and safeguarding policies.
• Motivated and deadline-driven, particularly in children's record-keeping and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Join Weybridge Nursery as a Lunchtime Assistant.
• Cover lunchtime hours approximately 10am–3pm.
• Deliver exceptional care supporting each child's development and needs.
• Fulfill lunchtime responsibilities and provide vital support to local nurseries.
• Create enriching environments with activities to foster indoor/outdoor growth.
