Job summary

Lift Schools is seeking a Nursery Lead Practitioner / HLTA to join Pebbles Nursery, part of Lift Barton Hill, providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for 2- and 3-year-olds. The role supports the Nursery Teacher and EYFS Lead in delivering outstanding early years provision.

You will lead a small team, plan and teach engaging activities, coach Teaching Assistants, and develop targeted interventions while maintaining the highest standards of care, safeguarding and professional practice.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in an Early Years setting.
• Full and relevant Level 3 EY qualification or HLTA status (or equivalent).
• Strong leadership, communication, empathy and patience are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach engaging lessons accessible to all learners.
• Guide and support Teaching Assistants with feedback and coaching.
• Create and deliver intervention strategies for students needing extra support.
• Build positive relationships to foster independent learning skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and pastoral staff on each child's progress.
• Organise learning spaces and resources to meet diverse needs.
