Qualifications

• Level 2 childcare qualification recognised by the Department for Education.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent English language skills, spoken and written.
• Clear DBS check and safeguarding knowledge.
• Previous childcare experience in early years settings.
• Ability to extend children's learning through high-quality activities.
• Good communication with both adults and children.

Responsibilities

• Act as key worker for a group of children, observing and recording progress.
• Develop high-quality interactions and extend children’s thinking and learning.
• Plan and deliver play experiences promoting physical, intellectual and emotional development.
• Ensure activities align with children’s next steps, observations and interests under EYFS.
• Maintain hygiene standards and model positive behaviour within the team.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive nursery environment.
