Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification recognised by the Department for Education.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent English language, spoken and written.
• Good safeguarding practices.
• Cleared DBS check or DBS clearance required.

Responsibilities

• To lead a team and act as key worker for a group of children, observing, recording and assessing progress with observations and photos.
• Develop high quality interactions to extend thinking and learning.
• Plan, prepare and deliver a range of play experiences promoting physical, intellectual and emotional development.
• Ensure activities draw from children's next steps, observations and interests within EYFS.
• Support each child in developing self-esteem and confidence.
• Provide a positive model of behaviour for children and families.
